Kimber lives in Rogers Park and moved to Chicago from Arizona in 2017. Their motivation to help others with cleaning, organizing, and decluttering comes from a mix of their deep compassion, understanding of mental health, and personal connection to neurodivergence (AuDHD, Bipolar2, PTSD).

They know firsthand how overwhelming clutter and disorganization can be. Recognizing that these aren’t just physical messes and often tied to mental and emotional struggles like depression, executive dysfunction, trauma, shame, burnout, and overwhelm. They feel that their personal journey overcoming mental health barriers combined with all their special interests has led them to this exact purpose; working to help others reclaim their space and mental health. Kimber loves a good depression nest cleaning!

One thing they are extremely proud of is their completion of a full-stack web development bootcamp. Other things include: being able to eyeball if something is level, their creative problem solving abilities, and the completion of an PHP/IOP behavioral health program at Rogers Behavioral in Skokie, which they consider one of the best decisions (and investments) they have ever made.

When Kimber is not working, they are most likely rearranging/creating spaces in their apartment or indulging in one of their many hobbies: acrylic pour painting, lapidary art, coding/design, kayaking, playing video games, or finding new hobbies to explore. They dream of one day building a treehouse from repurposed material and their favorite animal is the Tardigrade.

Amy has always found cleaning and organizing to be calming and satisfying work, whether she’s cleaning her own space, or helping with friends’ and family’s spaces. It was Amy’s experience as a classroom teacher that shifted the way she saw cleaning and organizing. She enjoyed assisting students in finding ways to organize their desks and notes in ways that worked for them; This taught Amy that cleaning and organizing is not one-size-fits-all, and that the most powerful way to support people is to meet them where they are at. When Amy isn’t busy creating visual art, she is usually listening to audiobooks, watching reality TV, and/or eating bagels.
